Translating the text on your webpages is only half the battle when localizing a website. If your marketing banners, infographics, charts, or product graphics contain text in your original language, international visitors will experience a jarring, disconnected browsing experience — even if every word on the page itself is perfectly translated.
MultiLipi's AI Image Translation Tool solves this problem instantly. Instead of spending hours manually redesigning localized graphics in tools like Figma or Photoshop, MultiLipi detects text within your website's images, translates it using context-aware AI, and replaces the image seamlessly — all while keeping your branding intact.
The Problem: Visual Content Left Untranslated
Up to 60% of website content lives inside images — promotional headers, product badges, feature comparison charts, team photos with text overlays, and call-to-action banners. Traditional translation tools miss all of this. MultiLipi's AI Image Translation is the bridge that closes this gap, giving international visitors a truly native experience. Key Benefits of AI Image Translation
Operational advantages that change how you localize.
Massive Design Time Savings
No need to recreate complex graphic design layers for every language deployment. What used to take a designer 2–3 hours per language now takes seconds.
Complete Linguistic Uniformity
By applying your pre-existing Project Glossary rules, the text embedded inside your visual assets perfectly matches your website copy — no inconsistencies.
Lower Bounce Rates & Higher Conversions
International visitors receive a deeply cohesive, native-feeling journey that drives trust. A localized visual experience removes the final friction barrier before a conversion.
Step-by-Step: Translate Your Website Images
A visual, no-code process managed through your live pages.
Translating an image is a visual, no-code process managed directly through your website's live pages via our interactive interface. You don't need to download any files, open design software, or write a single line of code.
Open Your URLs Tab
Log in to the MultiLipi Dashboard and choose your website project. On the left-hand navigation panel, under the Traduzioni category, click on URLs. This panel lists every indexed page of your website.

Launch the Visual Editor
Identify the page hosting the graphic you wish to modify. Move your cursor to the right-hand side of that row under the Editor Visivo column and click the Monitor/Screen Icon. This opens your live website page in an editable overlay — no browser extension or plugin needed.
Select the Target Graphic
Browse your page within the editor and click directly on the image you want to modify. In the options overlay that appears above the asset, make sure you are in AI Translation mode rather than URL Path Mode.

Configure Context Options & Trigger Translation
A modal titled AI-Powered Image Translation will prompt you with configuration options:
Add Custom Instructions: Click this link to pass specific context or stylistic guidelines to the rendering engine.
Use Project Glossary & Translation Memory: Ensure this box is checked to force the image to respect your pre-saved project vocabulary terms — ensuring brand consistency.
Review Balance: Check your total allocation next to the Credits remaining status block before proceeding.
Click the prominent blue Auto Translate button to begin processing.

Review and Save
Wait 1–2 minutes while the engineering pipeline processes the assets. Once processing completes, a green validation panel reading Translation Successful will appear, displaying a preview under the Translated Image column alongside an updated Credits used: 1 Credit indicator.
Click the blue Save button in the lower corner of the modal to push the localized graphic asset live to your site. Your international audience will now see the translated image immediately.
How Image Credits & Add-ons Work
A straightforward transaction model that scales with your needs.
Credit System Overview
Understanding how credits are consumed and replenished.
Consumption Model: Each individual successful image translation request consumes exactly 1 AI credit from your aggregate account ledger balance.
Plan Inclusions: Your default credit allocation is governed by your active subscription tier. High-end project tiers receive larger native credit allotments at the start of each billing cycle.
Purchasing Extra Credits: If your team exhausts your allocation midway through a billing cycle, navigate to your Account Profile settings page inside the main dashboard to buy tailored image credit add-ons instantly.

Pro-Tip: Handling Future Graphic Updates
Translation Memory keeps you synchronized automatically.
A major benefit of MultiLipi's architecture is how it handles future updates to your media library. If your design team updates an original graphic — for instance, changing a product image or updating a promotional price on your main English asset — MultiLipi detects the modification automatically.
Your previously translated text layouts are securely saved within your account's Translation Memory, meaning you won't have to manually re-translate the asset from scratch. The system will simply overlay your approved localized text onto the freshly uploaded graphic layout, ensuring your international sub-domains remain perfectly synchronized with minimal effort.
